5th grade scheduled to go see the high school musical program on March 29th

President’s continued Announcements:
Ice Cream Social Reward Day—A special thank you to the teachers for organizing this and also a special thank you to you the PTO for providing the funds. The children really do enjoy all of these events.
JDRF- is going on this week. Charity Event. Please send in a dollar to help Juvenile Diabetes Research.
Class trips: Are all being scheduled and on their way.
1st: Walnut Street Theater 4/10
2nd: May 17 Academy of Natural Sciences.
3rd: May 7th Mall/service learning project
4th: More information will be forthcoming
5th: May 30 Camden Aquarium
PTO POTH- Lots of information. 5th Grade Parent Group will perform, In School Show on 3/28 Exciting! Go Heckman!
~Yearbook happenings: Yearbook sales are subject to availability only. So please do not delay. Thank you Yearbook staff for a wonderful job! I am impressed with it already! I am looking forward to seeing the completed book.
~Poetrypalooza Pops! – Mrs. Connolly has come up with a new reading incentive for this year to coincide with our Author Day visit scheduled for May. Her time Line: Students are to read 5 poems in February & March. March 30th Poetry forms are due. Any Original poems need to be completed by April 19th. Happy Reading! I will be sending more information via email soon.
Not receiving PTO emails. Please let us know. We have been experiencing some problems which have not been explained.
Heckman T-shirt Orders: Order form and design is online. Orders are due tomorrow.
Chair persons wanted: Hospitality, Going Green, Restaurant night, Paper Copy Person, Holiday Extravaganza, Coffee Talk reporter, new events and more. Please contact me if you are looking to get more involved at any level. We can always use the help!
Board positions – Looking to get more involved or to become a part of the decision making? We would love to have you! Please let me know if you are interested.
Brainstorming: open discussion of new and old ideas, future events and pass events.
