The middle years are a time of great excitement, as well as great change.  Although change can be frightening, and even difficult, it can also be extremely rewarding.  As you and your child progress through your time at Poquessing Middle School, be sure to take advantage of every opportunity to get involved.  As educators, we are partners with the home and the community at large.  Frequent communication is one of the keys to success during this time of transition.  Please communicate regularly with teachers, counselors and administrators.  We are here to help make this time of change easier.

We are extremely proud of our students, and equally as proud of our teachers and support staff.  It is through these groups of people that our building becomes a true learning community. 

To the students, I offer this advice:  Get Involved.  Take advantage of the many activities, clubs and sports teams that are offered at Poquessing Middle.  Remember to study hard, and participate in class.  Contribute positively to all aspects of school.  Show your pride in YOUR school, and in yourselves!  Remember, Poquessing is a "Great Place to Learn!"
