TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Technology Education (TE or Tech Ed) at Maple Point consists of three areas: Communication (Graphic Design & Video Production), Drafting/Design, Production Technology/Power Technology. All students in grades six through eight rotate through the three areas to learn about technology and how it affects their world. Students have TE one semester each year with a different area every 6 weeks.

Technology Education stresses problem solving skills and creative thinking. It is a program that mixes classroom instruction with many hands-on activities.

Maple Point's TE Department has three teachers, Mr. Russ Boop in the Drafting/Design lab, Mr. Daniel Davis in the Communications lab, and Mr. Scott Cooper in the Power/Production lab.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the rotation schedule and the constrains of the grading program, it is not possible to post Technology Education grades. Any questions or concerns, please e-mail individual teachers.
