Eyeglasses
 
Throughout the year, we are collecting used eyeglasses for donation to Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers that are located around the world. The used eyeglasses are cleaned and classified by prescription. Trained Lions volunteers and other organizations are hosting optical missions in developing countries, then distributing the glasses to those in need.
 
If you have used prescription or nonprescription glasses or sunglasses in your drawers, desks, closets, you can donate them now. Children"s glasses are especially needed. Both plastic and metal frames are accepted.
 
To donate used glasses (including sunglasses and reading glasses), send them in with your child to be delivered to Mrs. Selger, the nurse.
