"PINK SLIME" “Pink Slime” is a term given to the processing of beef that adds Lean Beef Trimmings (fillers) and ammonium hydroxide in the beef production process. The meat trimmings pass through a centrifuge and are exposed to ammonia gas to destroy pathogens such as E. coli and Salmonella Our central office is located in the administrative wing of the Maple Point Middle School.
