Our reading program is called Superkids.

Your child will be assigned to read stories on this website, www.superkidsreading.org, which go with our reading program.  You will need to sign up for this FREE site.  Initially, you will receive an email from the Superkids site, after I input all of your email addresses.  

 

You will create your own password.  The first time you attempt to log on, just click, "I forgot my password," and it will prompt you to create one.

 

I've compiled all of our spelling lists on the site Spelling City.  These are words your child needs to learn to read and spell.  Click on the link to access the site.

 

If you are looking for more challenging words, the Dolch words on the site are a great place to start. 

 

The PTO has generously paid for us to have a Spelling City class account.  Your child's login name is the first initial of his/her name, followed by his/her last name.  Please note, if this login doesn't work, add your child's student number (in our classroom) to the end of their login.  The password is your child's student number in our classroom.  (Hint:  The number on his/her coat hook and mailbox.)
