READING 

We will be reading some good books this year. Some of the skills you will be practicing are compare/contrast, sequence, inferencing, finding and proving character traits, how to read a textbook, how to pick out and organize important information.                                  

WRITING  

We will be doing a lot of writing. We will work on skills to write descriptive paragraphs, persuasive paragraphs, and information paragraphs.                    

SPELLING                  

Learning spelling skills helps in writing and n reading. It is important to spell correctly when you write.
