THEME DAYS

Theme Days are designed to integrate subject areas with a common idea.  Your child may bring in items to enhance the learning around the theme.  Books, puzzles, games, stuffed animals, and small crafts, etc. are welcomed items to add to the theme.  Fiction and non-fiction stories are used to compare and contrast information.  The entire day is centered on learning through the theme idea.  Sometimes we even have a special guest speaker.  The children look forward to Theme Days.  Theme Days occur every Friday, but there will be some Theme Days on other days.  Please check your child's calendar or website calendar for dates.
