Today is Day 3.

News of the Day

 

The 8th grade soccer trip to Neshaminy High School today has been postponed.  No practice today, Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014.  Practice tomorrow!
 
Weight training will be after school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
 

 There is no school on Thursday, September 25th or Friday, September 26th, 2014 this week. 

 
If you plan on running for the National Junior Honor Society, your letter of intent needs to be given to Mrs. Sanchez today, Tuesday, September 23.  The National Junior Honor Society meeting is Wednesday, September 24 at lunch.  Yes Lunch!  We will be voting for officers.  The meeting scheduled for October 2nd has been cancelled.  
 
 Attention 7th and 8th graders: are you interested in joining the debate team?  Then sign up in room D-4 as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Brashier during homeroom.

Our first box top contest has officially ended and 3 homerooms will be enjoying soft pretzels tomorrow morning!  The 3rd place winner is a first time winner - Mr. McCarthy's homeroom.  2nd place is - Mrs. Romberger's homeroom and 1st place is - always the competitor - clipping champion of September is - Mrs. Brashier's homeroom!!! Congratulations!  Our school was able to raise over $350.00 for our SPIRIT program.  Everyone's help and support is greatly appreciated!  Start clipping NOW for our October contest!  Good Luck!

  • Tuesday, September 23th, 2014 

    Attention all orchestra students- Copies of the Sandburg Orchestra Lesson Schedule are ready to be picked up outside the band room.  Orchestra students please pick up your copy today and if you have any questions let Mr. Weiner know.

    Attention all band, chorus and orchestra students: The first fundraiser is the Hershey Candy fundraiser for our Dorney Park Music Trip. If you would like to sell candy, please stop by Mr. Weiner’s room and pick up a fundraising form.
     
     Any 8th grade student interested in working with the Channel "S" News Technical Staff should see Mr. Reed as soon as possible for an application.  Applicants must be in 8th grade.  Slots will be filled on a "first come, first served" basis. 

    Attention girls in 6th, 7th and 8th grade – there is an open gym girls basketball night every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm to 7:45pm in Gym 3 at Neshaminy High School.  Come on out and have some fun.  Updates and information can be checked daily on the Neshaminy Girls Basketball website   http://www.neshaminy.k12.pa.us/site/Default.aspx?PageID=1251.

    Attention All Orchestra Students - Orchestra lessons begin on Friday, October 3rd.  Remember to bring your instrument to school and check the schedule below so you know when your lesson is.
